Happy Thanksgiving 2011!
This is the time of year to be thankful for the blessings in our lives. Often even in hard times there are mixed blessings that help us realize how strong we are to persevere.
Here at TeenasPrideCSA we are very thankful for the extraordinary people who work with us to grow the produce and make sure it gets safely delivered to your pick-up points each week.
We want to thank you as CSA members for choosing to join our family farm Community Supported Agriculture program to help your families lead a healthier lifestyle.
We thank all the stores who allow us to use their store fronts so you can get your produce close to your homes.
We thank all the volunteers who come to the farm each week and help grow, harvest and pack your shares (I especially thank those that help with the computer work and communication stuff because it is beyond me and I would rather be farming). We would not have the manpower to do this program without these volunteers!
We thank our volunteer members who help with the open house the first Sunday of each month so your families can come see and enjoy the farm where your food is grown.
We are thankful that we are healthy and able to work every day in the fresh open country side.
We are thankful to live in a free country, especially sunny Florida where we have been blessed with no hurricanes in awhile.
We are thankful for our military and their families who sacrifice to keep this country free.
We wish all of you and your families a happy and safe holiday.
